The beauty of Sweden's Nature: Part 1: Small details
Every now and then I will be posting a blog highlighting the breathtaking nature of Sweden
Sweden’s nature is incredibly beautiful and diverse... It never ceases to amaze me.
From time to time, I’ll be sharing my favorite nature photos from recent days in a blog. Today’s photos mostly focus on stunning flowers and small details.
Enjoy!
One of the plants that caught my eye this week was the Bleeding Heart (Lamprocapnos spectabilis) – a delicate, almost fairytale-like flower with heart-shaped pink blossoms and a soft white drop beneath. Although this plant originally comes from East Asia, I found one growing wild here... Just magical. I love the heart-shaped blossoms so much...

Then, a few evenings ago, I saw a rabbit through my window, absent-mindedly chewing a clover…
And this amazing bumblebee collecting nectar from the purple lupine…

And even more lupine, because it is just so beautiful…

Next, we have this beautiful little wildflower called Silene, also known as Catchfly. This name comes from their often sticky stems, which can trap small insects. I love the delicate finesse of this little flower.
And last but not least…
I have no idea what this flower is called, but I just loved the details — the water droplets falling from the stamens just after the rain…
What are your favorite flowers? Do these grow where you live too?
I’d love to hear that!
